Press Release: Kent Plummer appointed to lead Australian channel

28 Jul 2026

Auckland, New Zealand / Gold Coast, Australia, 27 July 2026 – Devoli, the trans-Tasman connectivity platform, has appointed Kent Plummer as Channel Manager for Australia, reinforcing its commitment to helping Australian service providers modernise how they deliver and manage connectivity.

Kent has held senior roles in the Australian telecommunications industry, where he worked closely with MSPs to solve connectivity challenges and improve customer outcomes. Most recently, Kent led partner engagement for many of Aussie Broadband’s key customers.

Based on the Gold Coast, Kent will work alongside Devoli partners across Australia, helping them reduce operational complexity and unlock the full value of the Devoli Platform.

Kent joins as more service providers look to move beyond traditional telco processes and adopt software-driven approaches to ordering, provisioning, assurance and billing across multiple network providers.

Kent said Devoli's focus on removing friction from connectivity management appealed strongly to his instinct for helping MSPs improve their business.

"MSPs are constantly striving to improve operational efficiency, and that’s what the Devoli platform does for connectivity delivery, resulting in lower-cost-to-serve for the MSP and better outcomes for end users.

“I'm looking forward to working with Devoli's existing partners, and to introducing many more to a platform that can genuinely help them grow faster."

He added: “It’s great to be joining a company with global ambitions and a product that can back that up. While many major telcos are scratching their heads on the way forward, Devoli is on a growth trajectory with a disruptive and in-demand proposition that, I believe, many telcos may ultimately need to lean on themselves going forward.”

Devoli CEO Karl Rosnell said the appointment reflects where the Australian market is heading.

“Australian MSPs are being asked to run connectivity like a software business while most of their suppliers still run it like a telco. Our mission is to close that gap. Kent has spent many years on the partner side of that problem and knows exactly where the cost and friction sit. Having him on the ground means our partners can sell across both sides of the Tasman through one connectivity platform, without having to build anything that looks like a telco to do it.”
